Reviewing communication towards patients

Naast het Support group project review ik alle communicatie van ACTS Clinic naar haar patiënten. De projecten staan in nauw verband met elkaar en overlappen deels.

Project purpose

Acces to information, education and therefore communication, is critically important to create understanding amongst patients concerning their illness (HIV/Aids). Also, understanding helps improving commitment for (correctly) taking ARV's, treatment adherence. Communication can also contribute in addressing stigma and discrimination. Because of these benefits, it's worthwhile to review communication and communication materials towards patients within ACTS clinic.

Improve adherence

Goals for this project:
Create more:
- understanding about HIV/Aids treatment at ACTS Clinic amongst patients
- general understanding about HIV/Aids amongst patients

Subgoal:
Connecting to the Masoyi culture with the use of communication (materials) in explaining the treatment at ACTS and HIV/Aids

Deliverables

- Recommendations for a communication flow to accomplish the above goals
- Recommendations for communications materials to accomlish the above goals
- If possible (mainly regarding the amount of time which is left) create communication materials
